Recently, YCVM held a conference where the Board of Executives, the Executive Committee, the YCVM band, and the orphans can come together in fellowship to get to know each other. It's also an opportunity for the management of YCVM to give career guidance to the orphans, and speak good morals to the children.
Some of the children are also completing their 1st term in school. Here you see Helen Atai standing with Executive Board member Ann Onyait. Since YCVM has currently run out of funds, they are borrowing money to keep the kids in school. But borrowing is a tricky proposition.
